event of the month - year 2012

if you look back to my post titled
'you once live once' dated 04 april 2012.
i mentioned that in 2012 chris and i developed
the idea to do a month activity or event a month.

i started a list of everything we did and stopped at april
since we obviously didn't get to the other months
since they haven't passed :P
so here is our fully updated list of monthly activities for 2012:

january: lady antebellum - concert
february: west side story - play
march: chicago bulls game in chicago
april: rent - play
may: couples massages
june: the temptations - concert
july: michael jackson - cirque du soleil
august: rascal flatts and lifehouse - concerts (separate)
september: colorado - road trip
october: halloween bar-hopping
november: cruise to the bahamas
december: hockey game

chris and i haven't decided if we're going to do
this again for 2013 - not because it wasn't fun
but because
i developed a new idea for 2013 with the help
of my favorite website: pinterest!
i'll keep you posted if we decide to or not!
i do recommend it! it was very fun for the both of us!

we have a thing called date night in a jar!

happy belated new year!

well, it looks like we've made it to
another year! i just can't believe it's 2013!

as everyone knows a new year comes new goals.
chris and i took the time in mid-december and
wrote some goals we would like
to achieve in the next year.

i've decided not to post them onto my blog
because when i can see them, it makes it harder to achieve them
because i put more pressure onto myself to get them done.
i, however, only put two really hard to achieve goals
on the list because i don't want to set unrealistic
goals up for myself and fail.

let's see what the year holds for chris and i.
i hope it goes as planned and i hope you take this journey with me.
considering its 6 days into the new year i have to say things are going well.
and i hope the rest of my journey will follow suit.
i'll blog all about my adventures!

and i'm going to wish big this year!
